Azmi Salman is from a small village called Qusin, meaning the ancient Syriac house of firewood, located to the west of the city of Nablus. His village is famous for agriculture. He currently lives in Ramallah.
Azmi works as an agricultural engineer in the field of nature reserves. He has an interest in studying wild plants and integrating them with Palestinian heritage. He is a member of many websites and associations focused on the study and classification of plants.
