Cooking Training Workshop for Women Cooperatives and Host Families

As part of “Developing the Rural Communities in Palestine” Program, which is funded by our French Partners (Tetraktys, Afrat, AFD, The French Consulate, and the municipalities in France), Masar Ibrahim Al Khalil and the French partners have organized a cooking training for the women of the Community-based organizations (CBOs) and the Home-Stays along Masar Ibrahim Al Khalil. The training started on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2016 for a period of 4 days on row, finishing on Saturday, February 6th, 2016.

Opening of the Informational Panel in Bani Na’im

Masar Ibrahim Al Khalil and Siraj Center’s New “Spring Weekly Walks Season of 2016”

World Bank Supervision Mission 22nd – 25th January, 2015

A new mission’s visit from the World Bank team to Masar Ibrahim Al-Khalil was made during the period from January 22nd to January 25th. The purpose of the mission was to verify the status of the project implementation, and to support the execution of the project’s activities.

Presentations by API and MIAK were made about the project progress and some examples on the (website, fairs trades), success stories, and case examples. The mission included a walk on a segment from Masar Ibrahim and a visit to the Dead Sea level’s Bedouin community tent, in addition to a visit to the Refugee camp guesthouse and women cooperative.

The team ended the mission with a presentation on the social cohesion results of the project and the role of the Women and youth in the work of Masar Ibrahim, besides discussing the project results and factors which are important for the project extension.

The first theater show in the village of Tequa’

Signing a cooperation agreement with the municipality of Beit Sahour

Mini Marketing Workshop for MIAK Homestays

In an initiative to further develop the capacities of the rural communities along Masar Ibrahim so as to run their businesses more efficiently and effectively, and as part of the Economic Development across Fragile Communities project, which is Funded by the World Bank, Rozana Association in cooperation with Masar Ibrahim Al Khalil and the Abraham Path Initiative have implemented a workshop in Mini Marketing and Social Media targeting the host families of both the north and south segments of the Masar last Monday and Tuesday, 7th and 8th of December, 2015.

Scout Group of Beit Sahour Walking Trips

Masar Ibrahim Al-Khalil had arranged two walks last Wednesday and Friday July 22 and 24, 2015 for the Scout Group of Beit Sahour youth where 150 participants have walked from Al-Makhrour in Beit Jala reaching to the village of Battir west of Bethlehem, and 87 participants have walked from the Tent of Bedouin in Al-Rashayda to the area overlooking the Dead Sea.
